River & Eve flora is a Sutherland Shire based, boutique floral design studio run by Kathleen Steele. Flowering all over Sydney as well as in the Southern Highlands, South Coast and Blue Mountains. River & Eve specializes in intentional, romantic florals for weddings, events and editorial shoots.
The essence of River & Eve flora comes from the love of natural, seasonal beauty. Kathleen wholeheartedly believes in the extraordinary, ancient power that plants and flowers have to make people feel happy and connect them with nature. Florals are essential markers of emotions and play a role in key events and milestones.
Kathleen works with local growers, and grows in her own micro flower farm to design with unique and beautiful ingredients.
When it comes to weddings, River & Eve flora welcomes couples from all backgrounds and celebrates love in all its forms. As plants and their flowers are an expression in form of that which is formless; love.

She is such a warm and lovely person to work with. Kat styled our wedding and created the most incredible flower arrangements. She listened to us describe our personalities and values, tastes and what style our wedding would be and from that created a colour palette and arrangements that fit perfectly. We also loved her attention to sustainability and seeing how she brings this into her work.

We got married in December this year and were recommended River & Eve flora (Kat) by our venue. We were on a relatively tight budget, and Kat knew exactly what to do to make the flowers at our wedding SO magnificent (!!) with limited spend. Kat is so kind and thoughtful, and genuinely cares about her clients. She makes the whole process SO easy, and learns quickly what you do like and don't like (even if you don't know it yourself!). My mum has always grown foxgloves, and wasn't able to make the wedding due to border closures, so Kat made sure they were in my bouquet. It was breathtaking. Not only is Kat so skilled at her craft, she is also the coolest, nicest, loveliest person to have around - which helps when you're feeling a bit jittery on the day. I couldn't recommend Kat from River & Eve flora more highly or wholeheartedly. Thank you thank you thank you Kat!

Kat's designs are incredible, rustic and ooze effortlessness whilst still being sophisticated and classy. Its so hard to find that sort of style - everything is so "done" rather than accepting of natural beauty. Kat is so passionate about what she does even growing her own flowers - i think that is proof in the pudding!

Kathleen is INCREDIBLY lovely, and her floral creations are nothing short of breathtaking! It was such a joy to be able to have her do our florals for our wedding, and to actually see them on the day with our eyes. From my first email correspondence, to meeting her for the first time when she delivered our flowers to our door - Kathleen has been always so thoughtful, accommodating, genuine, kind and so helpful. Having a wedding is often so expensive, but my husband and I especially appreciated Kathleen's thoughtfulness about our budget, and her suggestions to make the most out of it. Her final arrangements were a magical autumnal dream!!!
