Kelly & Darren were a breath of fresh air and I adored created for them. Kelly & I have known each other for a while and when she got engaged to Darren, the first thing she said to me was, "So, you're doing my flowers, yes?" 100% Yes! I absolutely adore how the florals came out on the day. For many years, the trend for beach, coastal weddings has been quite boho, neutrals and creamy tones - Kelly and Darren wanted to do a stark contrast to their environment and I was living for it. The romantic, rich colour pallete and rambling vibe were beyond spectacular with the Cronulla beach as their canvas on a pretty afternoon. 

The bouquet was one of my favourites - lots of cherry reds and raspberry, with dusky pinks as a middle tone and lovely creamy light pinks to bring it all to life. The Founders Room at Cronulla has a beautiful reception area. We set up a collection of bud vases on the bar tables, lush arrangements on the seated tables and a large, rambling bar feature. The Paper fox captured the joy of the day perfectly. This was by far a highlight of 2021!
