 Pippa & Jake                late summer

"Kat was a pleasure to work with for our wedding- she is not only a lovely person but super easy, chilled and fun to work with- not to mention amazing at what she does. She nailed our vision for the flowers for our wedding and her effort was beyond our expectations. Highly recommended Kat! xxxx." - Pippa & Jake

Pippa & Jake are two of the coolest cats you'll meet. Their south coast wedding was a combination of Spanish florals, tropical backdrops, funky music and so, so many smiles.

I see these image of Pip & Jake's wedding and one memory trail comes to mind. Pip and I spoke about using bouganvillea from the very start. Bouganvillea is such a fickle flower and is notorious for wilting. They don't always have super structured flowering periods either as they are very weather dependent! I was determined to use it, I had my plan set out and structures in place to keep the queen boug as hydrated as possible. The afternoon before the wedding was the day I was going to a few sites to cut the flowering Boug, and I did, however I've never been so saturated and clobbered in my life. It poured almost 200 ml of rain that day and I don't need to say much else. But I don't think I'll ever forget the feeling of accomplishment placing those plump, psychedelic stems into the installations that day. So so worth it.⁣

This colour palette is such a dream to work with! I used my organically grown, fluffy Cafe Au Lait dahlias to soften the vibrant cherry reds in the table arrangements, which were all foam free - including the bridal table! The bridal table had a long, central arrangement, and an asymmetrcal design on either side with smaller arrangements, candles and rose quartz stone.
