Wedding Flowers
I arrange flowers for all couples - from adventurous, intimate elopements to large, lavish celebrations in Sydney and all around Australia.
My couples become my muse; couples who are authentic and nature-loving. I use my in-depth knowledge of flowers to create a bespoke design specifically for your wedding. I work with my couples to create a loose but clear outline of the design brief and I ensure an experience of ease and trust.
On your wedding day I want to tell your story through the language of flowers in a way that makes your heart swoon. I want the delicate flowers to soften your eyes. I want the movement of your bouquet make you feel joyful and free. I want your wedding flowers to compliment the feel of the setting and season.
River & Eve flora's design work for weddings and events is always informed by what is happening in the garden and highly evocative of the season. I like to think we are bringing the garden indoors and creating a magical atmosphere for the guests; each arrangement and installation is a little botanical world, full of nuanced colour, texture and scent.
How I work

After you reach out through the website contact form, I may do a little happy dance. I'll respond promptly, answering any questions you might have. This email will also contain a link to a questionnaire for you to fill out which will provide me with some specifics of your day. How many bridesmaids bouquets? What colour palette are you feeling? Then I'll organize a time to have a consolation with you, usually over the phone or Zoom.

During our consultation, I want to get to know you, your relationship, and your ideas for your wedding. I'll work with you to create a botanical vision that feels unique to you. After this, I will create a bespoke visual proposal and quote based on what we talked about and the feeling I want to emulate on the day. I'll use my knowledge of seasonal flowers and foliage, colour theory, and my own micro-farm to build this vision.

Next is my favourite part of the planning process; presenting to you your wedding flower proposal. I love having this meeting in person and sharing my beautifully designed floral plan! During this meeting, changes on anything can be made, I want nothing more than for you to feel comfortable and excited!

The weeks leading up to your wedding I will be in the process of carefully choosing your flowers. Foraging, speaking to growers to see what will be blooming and of high quality and preparing my own garden. We will also have our final meeting to confirm and triple check quantities, times, addresses and all the gritty details.
